Dude.....where's my daughter?

Oh yeah, she's still contently kicking inside my tummy. Dr. Haines said he'd be "very surprised" if I made it to my due date and well, this little girl is about to surprise all of us. It is July 6th just two days shy of my due date and she's just chillin. I have had on and off contractions, mostly at night, for almost 2 weeks. I have been surprised to learn a lot of women have gone through this in their 2nd and 3rd pregnancies, including my stepmom. Wowsers. The new things you learn with each pregnancy are incredible. I have an appointment today, we'll see how things are progressing with little miss soon!

As for the rest of our lives, we are living @ J's parents and still searching for our next house. The deal on the house in North Juanita fell through unfortunately. The inspection raised too many red flags. If we were contractors we'd probably have taken the risk but for a young family on a budget there were just too many neglected aspects of the house and "what ifs." We'll see. The move has been harder on the Ice Man than I anticipated. He loves Maw & Paw's house but lately he's been acting out some and asking to go home, to his own bed. I'd hoped to be spending these last few days, weeks of my pregnancy bonding with him, spending some serious one on one time but he's been a little distant toward me. Sad to see in my 3 year old sweetie, but something I must accept. Lots of changes, not just with mommy, to learn to live with.
